I Remember Blogging….

September 27, 2004 — Leave a comment

Not too long ago, I seemed to have time to blog. But somewhere in the midst of the Fall, the ability to find time to write has gone.

Fall is the busiest time in the life of the church. Although we may talk about a year round faith, the reality exists in most “traditional” churches that the school calendar rules with more of an iron fist than the church year. Thus, it seems like the Fall is full of new beginnings — new classes, new programs, etc. For my church, the Fall represents the time when the annual Fall Fair happens (it’s our 16th this year). This Fall Fair raises a bunch of money, much of which goes toward outreach projects, and becomes the focus of much energy in late August and September. If you are in town, you need to come over to the church this Saturday (Oct. 2) from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and check it out.
